Bombay Masala is a well known blend used for side dishes. This masala is most often used in vegetarian dishes.Featured Ingredients: green cardamom pods, cinnamon, curry leaves, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, cloves, coconut, sesame seeds, white poppy seeds, and other spices
Expected Taste: Dry roast over gentle heat required amount of the blend. Bombay Masala has richness and texture from the use of coconut and sesame and poppy seeds. Add spices at the beginning of cooking for more subtle flavor. For more pronounced flavor, add spices when cooking is almost done.
Suggested Recipe: Cut vegetables of choice (tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini) into bite-size cubes; if using potatoes, par boil them. In a skillet, add oil, 2-3 tbsp of Bombay Masala. When the spices become aromatic, about 2-3 minutes, add vegetables. Stir well, cover the pot and cook until all vegetables are fork tender. You might need to add some water to prevent burning. ENJOY!
